An initial set of drawings for planning, getting permits, or getting a local building cost estimate before committing. This set is not for construction.
  • Select drawings from the Build Set that are intended for early phases of project planning, including:
    - Floor plans with general room dimensions
    - Window and Door sizes
    - Exterior elevations
    - Select building sections
    - Roof, wall, and floor assembly information
  • A $149 credit to use towards your Build Set.
  • The Study Set DOES NOT INCLUDE A LICENSE TO BUILD.
  • It is illegal to recreate the plan in part or in full without purchasing the License to Build.

Your comprehensive set of plans to hand over to your contractor to build your vision. This detailed, builder-ready construction set includes the essential architectural and structural drawings that has been designed and drawn by our studio, coordinated with our structural engineering team, and detailed to provide you and your contractor with a budget-friendly approach towards a sustainable home.
  • 60 minute onboarding call with you and your contractor
  • A home plan thoughtfully designed by an architect
  • A toolkit to help organize and communicate your selected exterior and interior finishes
  • Ongoing email support for questions throughout your build
  • The architectural drawings include: Floor plans, Roof plans , Exterior elevations, Building sections, Building details, Window and door elevations and schedules, Electrical and lighting plans, Stair information, Finish and furniture plans, and Select interior elevations to communicate high-touch areas with cabinetry. These include suggestions for cabinetry layout, tile locations, and decorative lighting locations.
  • The structural drawings include: Foundation plan, Framing plans, Stud and Shear wall plans and schedules, Concrete details, and Framing details
  • Access to our nationally licensed structural team for any modifications that may be needed (their modifications are not included)

The process of seeing your vision come to life is one of the most amazing experiences you could have. Our Signature Process is a deep dive, collaborative, and fun (no black turtlenecks here!) design process to customize your home — exploring the possibilities with us, as your guide. This experience allows you to come to the table with desires and ideas, but not necessarily have the solutions yet. We get just as excited about your dream, as you do.

Architectural

Architectural drawings communicate the big picture design down to the details of the wall assemblies. We’ve used our design experience to think through flow and function of each space. We’ve used our building expertise to think through smart, effective solutions for affordable and sustainable construction details. By balancing the two, your new home will not only be beautiful, but it will be healthy.

Interior

Interior drawings communicate the finer details of each space: what finishes are needed and where they’re located, how the cabinetry looks and works, and the location and type of fixtures. Our drawings provide thoughtful suggestions for these spaces, balancing aesthetics and function for your home.

Structural

Included is a set of professionally engineered drawings and details - essential for building a structurally sound home. We’ve worked with our structural consultant to provide drawings that are fully coordinated and easy to modify for your site. They’re based on risk category II, a seismic design category D, and a snow load of 70 psf.
